Asparagus salad with lemon and basil

1 bunch of asparagus

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

5 basil leaves – finely chopped

Olive oil

Salt & pepper

Grate the asparagus using the large side of a box shaped grater.   Toss with the lemon zest, lemon juice, & chopped basil.    Season with salt and pepper.  Add olive oil to taste.  You do not need a lot of olive oil.
